Vineyards

The Perez family early on recognized the unique qualities of the different districts in the Napa Valley for growing exceptional quality grapes. The unique clay loam soil and cooling breezes from the San Pablo bay allow Chardonnay grapes to fully ripen and also maintain their acidity in the Carneros district.

The more gravely soils and warmer climate of the St. Helena district promote deep red color and rich full ripeness for the Zinfandel varietal. The results of matching the specific varietal to the district are wines which have magnificent varietal fruit character, splended color, well-balanced structure and smooth finishes.
